Join The Family Fun!

Bring the entire family to the annual fun-filled, FREE, Comox Nautical Days Festival, BC Day Long Weekend, in the Comox Marina Park. There’s something for everyone! Check the weekend schedules to learn more about when these events are happening.

COMOX NAUTICAL DAYS CRAFTS SHOW AND SALE

The Craft fair is a major part of the overall festival. Approximately 85 crafters showcase their products during the three days.

Environmental & Waste Management Display will be in the Spinnaker Building all weekend.


Pancake Breakfast
8am-11am
Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Support this fundraiser for the Comox Valley Hospice Society! Head down to the area beside the Sails Stage for a pancake breakfast and listen to the music of Anela Kahiamoe.

Kids Games at Nautical Days All Ages
Saturday August 3rd 9:30-11am

Join Comox Recreation staff at the Marina Park Splash Pad Area to have fun as a family, in the sun of Marina Park. Laugh, play and enjoy parachute games, soccer, floor hockey, spike ball and more! Burn off some energy before exploring all that Nautical Days has to offer. Parent supervision required and parent participation is encouraged!

BULL HEAD FISHING DERBY 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 3rd8:30-11:30am

The annual Bullhead Derby is a thrilling event for children. The Derby takes place on the Government Wharf on Saturday,from 8:30 am. To 11:30 am. Prizes will be given out on the Main Stage at 12:00 noon. It is sponsored by Robbins & Co. Chartered Professional Accountants, Comox Valley Record, and Canadian Tire.

BEER GARDENS

The CNDF beer garden is in the Gazebo, and is hosted by the Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snowsports, a local non-profit society. All net proceeds go towards supporting the host organization’s charity goals. Two pieces of ID are required to enter the beer garden.

COMOX NAUTICAL DAYS CAR SHOW

Comox Nautical Days Car Show

Come and see the antique and Classic. This event is put on by the CV Vintage Car Club.
Registration between 8:00 am and 10:00 am
Monday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
East Parking Lot
Prizes will be awarded next to the car show at 1:30pm.

COMOX VALLEY 4 MILE FOOT RACE

MONDAY, AUGUST 5th – 8-10am

What better way to celebrate British Columbia’s birthday than to take part in a true BC legacy event! The 54th Annual Nautical Day’s 4 Mile Foot Race, the oldest continually held running race on Vancouver Island, is held annually on BC Day in downtown Comox. Old and young have charged through the streets of Comox since this great event started in 1971.
This short 4-mile (6.4km) distance is geared toward the whole family offering fun and challenge for all pace levels. It takes you from the Comox Town Hall, along rolling streets until the finish at the corner of Comox Avenue and Port Augusta Street. Come for the race and hang around after the post race party to watch the Nautical Days Parade. Race registration online only. COMOX NAUTICAL DAYS PARADE

MONDAY, AUGUST 5th – 10:30 am

All communities of the Comox Valley support the Comox Nautical Days Parade. Thousands of spectators line Comox Avenue to cheer on hundreds of parade participants. More than thirty entries as well as levels of government take part in the parade. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and Honourable Mention prizes will be sponsored by the Sea Business in Action.

Pet Parade

SATURDAY, AUGUST 3rd – 10:00 am in front of the Main Stage. Bring your dog, cat, lizard, etc. to the Pet Parade. Prizes will be given out.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS FIREWORKS DISPLAY

MONDAY, AUGUST 5th 10:00 pm

40,000 plus spectators line the shores of Comox Valley to be dazzled by this spectacular presentation. Choreographed to a musical soundscape simulcast on the local radio station, Eagle FM 97.3. This festival finale finishes as the sky fills with a plethora of red and white sparkles.
